Kids Pictures Take 2

Our first group shot of the kids since having all 6 of them.
We tried for annual pictures again on the 10th of September.  This was another cooler, cloudy day (those are best for lighting) but we came prepared this time.  We stopped lower down the canyon at one of the campgrounds and got some pretty good pictures of the kids.  Everyone was very patient and we managed to get everyone's picture taken before the rains came.  (We actually got everyone except Gracie, but that was okay because we got a good picture of her when we went up a few days earlier.)  Like always, Kenny wasn't completely happy with the shots, but I like them and they'll do.  I think he's too picky because he takes them.  :)

Sarah Kate Age 10
Ben James Age 8
Hannah Beth Age 6
Gracie Grace  Age 4 (almost 5)
Dan Dan Age 3
Adam Boy Age 2
After getting pictures of the kids we decided to continue up the canyon and see if the rain was going to stop.  Once we got to Brighton we decided it was too cold to try and get pictures of the kids even if the rain stopped.  Not wanting to go home yet we made the choice to head up Guardsman Pass and over to Park City.  The view at Guardsman Pass was beautiful and Kenny decided to get the kids out and try to take a quick group shot.  He used me as a stand in at first because it was so cold and then when everything was set and ready we yanked the kids out of the car, stood them on the dirt and snapped a few pictures.  It was cold, windy, and raining slightly and the kids were all hungry and in no mood for a picture, but I think we got a pretty good group shot of them all.  It's definitely the best one we've ever gotten and it shows personality.

The picture Kenny took of me as a test shot.  Not too bad of a picture of me.

The same group shot just different coloring.
We headed over the mountain and went to Taco Bell in Park City for dinner.  We love driving over the mountain and dropping down into Park City.  It's such a beautiful drive and it's a wonderful outing.  After getting dinner we stopped on the side of the freeway to change a flat tire and then drove safety home.  It was a great day the resulted in some nice pictures to hang on our wall.

The sunset from the Taco Bell in Park City.  Beautiful!
