Family Picture 2012

On September 11th we headed up Little Cottonwood Canyon to see if we could get some other shots of the kids.  Kenny was still not satisfied with the ones we got the day before and he wanted to try again up a different canyon.  When we got up the canyon we were quickly reminded why we prefer Big Cottonwood Canyon.  Little Cottonwood is not as scenic and definitely not as good for pictures.  We wandered around for awhile trying to find a good spot for pictures.  Kenny found a great place for a possible family picture.  We put the kids in the car, it was cold, and I helped Kenny set up the camera and did the kids hair.  There was no one around to help us take our picture so we figured we'd have to just take another kid shot.  Luckily, just as the sun was beginning to set and elderly couple came to take pictures of the sunset.  The wife was nice enough to take our picture for us.  So, I got all the kids out of the car and we set us all on the rocks quickly and she snapped a few pictures for us.  She did a wonderful job and even did things to make Dan smile, which was HUGE.  I'm so grateful they were there at the right time and that they were willing to help us.  Thanks to those generous people we now have an updated family picture.  YAY!!!!
