Zoo'n It

Kenny came home from Oregon the weekend of Mother's Day. I was so nice to have him home and it was so nice that the weather cooperated and we were able to take the kids to the zoo. I love the Tautphaus park and zoo. It may just be a little zoo, but it's perfect for our family and it's actually surprising just how much is there. We thought a trip to the zoo would be a perfect welcome home daddy/Happy Mother's Day mommy kind of outing. The kids hadn't been to the zoo in over a year and they were very excited to go.

Kenny helping Dan feed the ducks.

Adam enjoying the ride.

Dan REALLY enjoyed the goat where you get to go in and pet them.

Dan particularly liked this goat.

I love his expression (Dan's not the goats)

This is one of those shot I wish we'd gotten from the other side. I can just see the excitement on his face.

Hannah and Sarah petting a goat and probably asking the zookeeper way to many questions. :)

Sarah having some one on one time with a donkey.

Gracie and Hannah had their monkey shirts on and wanted a picture with a monkey.

Hannah was playing with this monkey. She'd stand there and the monkey would bang on the glass. She put her hands on the glass and it would bang and try to hit her hands through the glass. It was so cute. We tried to video it, but the monkey was pretty much done by the time we got the video camera out.
