Wrapping Gifts

This is the first year in I can't remember how many years that we have put Christmas presents under the tree before Christmas Eve   We learned early on in parenting that with little kids it's just safer to wait and wrap presents the night before Christmas.  Our kids are finally getting old enough that we can wrap presents and put them under the tree and not expect them to open them before Christmas.  On December 17th I went ahead and let the kids wrap the presents they bought for the sibling whose name they drew.  They love wrapping presents and are so excited to see their sibling open the gift they chose for them. For me it's part of the magic of Christmas.
We started with the youngest so Adam was first to wrap his present to Gracie.
Next came Dan.  He did a great job wrapping his present to Sarah.
Then I let the little boys put their presents under the tree.
Gracie came next and did a great job wrapping her present to Hannah.
Hannah wrapped her present to Ben without much help from me at all.

Gracie and Hannah were able to put their presents under the tree together.

Ben and Sarah wrapped theirs together because they got Dan and Adam who would be sharing their presents.
Sarah wrapping the big present to the boys.

Showing off their wrapping jobs.
