Christmas Eve

Ready to open Christmas jammies.
We had a rough start to Christmas this year.  We gathered all the kids for a lesson about the first Christmas and they were just awful.  I guess they had had too much fun during the day, were too excited, or just plain too wound up.  I'm not sure what it was, but they couldn't sit still for more than a few seconds and they couldn't keep their voices off to save their lives.  Kenny ended up sending them all to bed without doing anything Christmasy.  Kenny and I then proceeded to have and argument because of miss communications and we nearly just scrapped the entire thing.  Luckily we figured out it wall a miss communication, got all the kids up and had a talk with them about proper behavior, and then proceeded to open jammies and put out cookies for Santa. We skipped everything else and just went ahead and put the kids to bed.  They were happy to go to bed and excited to see what Santa was going to bring them in the morning.
