Getting Curious

The new Thanksgiving Point museum opened in May and we were so very excited. We heard wonderful things about the museum and couldn't wait until we got to see it for ourselves. We headed over to the museum on the 16th of May to see it. We weren't disappointed. There is not enough good things to say about this museum. It's broken into different rooms and the kids love all of them. We first went to the Rainforest where you could climb through a dark tunnel, go to the market and play with fruits and veggies, and play in their huge playland, to name a few. Water Works was our next destination and we learned about tornadoes, high winds, and played with water and PVC pipes. This is also where the kids first found the guy from Fox 13 news and were able to get on the news a few times. Kidopolis was our final destination and did not disappoint. Kidopolis is a small town complete with a bank, theater to put on plays, laundry mat, music room, and many, many other rooms. The kids loved Kidopolis. It was a great day and we're so excited to go back.

The boy LOVE driving the airplane in the Rainforest.
They even have a small climbing wall.
Feeling the wind blow.
Channel 13 news filming the kids in the wind tunnel.
Dan liked the blowing air.
It's a good day when you get to play with water.
Trying to stand inside a tornado.

Playing in the bank.
Dan got interviewed for Channel 13 news. He was confused, but so cute.
I lost Adam in Kidopolis and just when I was starting to panic I
turned around and saw this. What a goofball.
We loved all the hidden mouse doors.

Playing music and making bubbles.
They have a room to put on a play. The kids were in heaven.
