Christmas School Programs

Gracie getting ready to sing.
The kids had some fun things happen at school before Christmas break. Gracie was so excited for her Christmas program on December 18th. She had worked for weeks to learn the songs and when the day finally came she was very excited. It was so fun to watch her little actions and how happy she was singing all the songs. Way to go Gracie.
Gracie had so much fun singing all of the Christmas songs she learned.

Sarah's StarBase certificate
December 20th was the last day of school before Christmas break. All the kids had their Christmas parties and I was able to help with both Sarah and Ben's class party. Before the parties Sarah had her graduation for StarBase (a science program the 6th graders went to at Hill Air Force Base.) After the StarBase ceremony I was able to see Sarah's Christmas orchestra concert. It was so fun to watch all that she has learned so far.

Sarah and her best friend Addy who also plays the violin.
After the Christmas program it was time for Sarah's Christmas party. I had volunteered to help in Sarah's class, but her teacher assigned me to do the entire party. She gave me a few names of people to help, but only one of them would. It wasn't the greatest party, but the kids seemed to have fun even with the little time we ended up having and little help.  After Sarah's party I went over to help with Ben's party. His party was much easier because I was only in charge of one activity. All in all it was a good and busy day.

Drawing a Christmas scene on top of their heads.
They turned out great.  :)
