The First Annual Newbreunion

A few of us in Kenny's family had gotten the great idea that it was time to start a Newbry reunion.  Independently of each other, we met with my in-laws to voice our opinions.  Apparently enough of us talked and they liked the idea so much that they agree it was time to start a reunion.  My mother and father in law took charge this year and decided to make it nice and simple and in Salt Lake.  It was the last weekend in June and everyone had a blast.  Because I'm so far behind on this blog (it's November 1st as I type this) and because there are over 1000 pictures to sort through and I don't want to take the time to do that right now, I've decided to write a quick recap with a few pictures and then come back later with a slideshow.

Thursday was zoo day.  Most of us got year long zoo passes from my in-laws for Christmas and we used them for the reunion.  The kids loced going to the zoo with all their cousins.  Kenny took a few hours off of work to spent with us.  It was a beautiful day.

Most of the kids with the gorilla.  Some look happier than others, but they all enjoyed themselves.

Ben and Travis were so happy to finally see each other again.

Thursday night was a cookout and talent show at JJ and April's house.  What a fun group of crazies we are.

The family watching the talent show.

The family tree grandma and grandpa made for their talent.

Friday We used our Pass of All Passes at Trafalga and enjoyed all the outside rides, the laser tag, and rock climbing.

The boats are the best part of Trafalga and we got to fill them up with just Newbry's.

Dan, Adam and I on a ride.  The boys loved this ride.

Friday night was the cookout/picture time up in Muller canyon. Bruce and Nancy came to take pictures for us and brought Jolene, Rob, and baby Scarlet, and Loni and her girls.  It was fun to see all of them.

The entire Newbry clan.

Saturday was our fun in the sun day.  We headed to Seven Peaks in Provo for a day of swimming.  It was so much fun and everyone got really tired.

All the grandkids (minus Sarah and Missi) after a long day at the water park.

Saturday night was the adult dinner.  We left all the kids behind and headed for a dinner with just the grown ups. It was fun to be without our kids, to visit, and to be able to let loose a little.

We didn't get many picture from the adult dinner.  Here's one from our side of the table.

Sunday we headed to Mindy's for a church activity (a sharing time put on by me) and then went to the park for a picnic.

Playing at the park.

It was a great reunion and I can't wait until next year.  Hopefully I'll get these pictures posted before the next reunion.  :)
