Church Easter Egg Hunt

Helping Dan during the toddler egg hunt.

Our ward had an Easter dinner and Easter Egg hunt the day before Easter. It was so much fun to take the kids and let them play with their friends and enjoy some Easter activities. We always love getting out and will take any excuse to celebrate a holiday.

Sarah and her friend Clarissa heading off to find more eggs.

Gracie helping our neighbor Giulia. Gracie was trying so hard to make sure Giulia got all the eggs she could, much to the annoyance of Giulia.

Sarah and Clarissa headed back to the church after looking at their loot. I love that they're not to old to hold hands yet.

Dan ready to head in as the sun sets. I love springtime when the weathers good.

With so many kids I often do a bad job of getting a picture of all of them. Ben was, of course, off playing with friends the entire time and for the most part I didn't know where he was. Hannah was around, but for some reason she never made it in a shot. Oh well! I guess I'll have to work on that. We had a great time, left with lots of candy and eggs, and we hope they do it again next year.

Fun In An Old Car

The kids insisted Kenny take a picture of the car for me to see.

There's this old car in the field behind our house that Kenny's been dying to check out for picture taking, so, on a fairly nice day in late April Kenny and the 4 oldest kids trekked through the field to check it out. It turned out to be a great old car that's just perfect for pictures. Each kid wanted a turn getting their picture taken in the car. Each picture actually captures the kids personality fairly well.

Gracie goofing off and being silly.

Ben driving the old truck.

Sarah hanging out.

Hannah got two pictures. She's very cooperative, most of the time.

We Love Chasing Ducks

It may not be surrounded by green yet, but the temple is still pretty.

The month of April was so cold and we were itching to get out. We headed to the falls late that month, looking for some other great spots for pictures. We didn't find any more picture spots, but we did find some fun geese who were just begging to be chased. OK, they probably didn't want chased, but the were kind enough to entertain the kids and give them some much needed exercise.

Adam enjoying some much needed time outside.

Dan's getting so quick and almost caught up to a few of the geese.

Go Gracie Go

I love this picture of Dan and I watching the geese. It makes me excited for summer for some reason.

I think they may have scared this goose. Poor thing!

Gracie's Headband Style

There are really, few words to describe Gracie's style. The best way to put it is, she has a style all her own. Though I had already done her hair this particular day, Gracie took it upon herself to take my boring hairdo out and create one herself. Beautiful! Maybe I'll let her do her own hair more often.

Sorry about the chewed food. I just had to add this one, she can be such a cute little stinker.

Bouncing Baby Boy

We have the one bouncer that has gone through all the kids. I have pictures of each kid, as a baby, bouncing up and down in it. So, of course, I had to snap some pictures of Adam. He, like the rest of them, loves to sit and bounce. This house doesn't have a great place to hang the bouncer, but the doorway to the laundry room works pretty well and he can see people walking in and out of the kitchen. The best time for him to jump is during dinner when he can see us all sitting down at the table. I debated dragging out the pictures of all the other kids, but I'm too lazy. Maybe another day. For now, enjoy the pictures of Adam enjoying the bouncer.
