The Wrong Castle Cake

The horrible, very disappointing castle cake.

For the past 3 years Hannah has wanted one cake and one cake only, the castle cake.  This year she wanted another castle cake and I thought I'd make her a different kind of castle cake.  Now, in all fairness, it turned out better in my head than on the actual cake, but still.  When she saw what castle cake I had made for her she was so disappointed.  She tried so hard to be thankful, but you could tell she was very disappointed.  At one point she said it looked like a wedding cake not a castle cake.  Lesson learned.  When Hannah asks for another castle cake, I need to make sure and make her the correct castle cake.

Even if the look of the cake was a disappointment, the cake itself was very yummy.  Of course, the little kids had to make a mess of themselves.  A great time was had by everyone and the youngest for got very mess.  This led to bath time and . . .

Hannah wanted the middle of the cake so she got the entire middle of the cake. :)

Gracie got a little messy also.  Isn't this the type of thing that makes being a kid so much fun and so memorable?

Bath time.  When the kids got all done eating cake it was time to get in the bath tub.  Kenny put Adam in first and when Hannah and Gracie came in asking if they could get in, Kenny went ahead and put them in.  Clothes and all.  They were so shocked.  It was really funny.
