We Got New Bikes!!!!!

A little over 7 years ago our bikes were stolen from my sister-in-laws back deck.  It was devastating for us and we knew it would be a long time before we would be able to afford new ones.  We decided that we wanted to be more of an outdoorsy family and so when we got our tax return this year we decided to use some of the money to replace our stolen bikes. We spent weeks in the bike store (the workers there knew us by name) looking for the perfect bikes and finally settled on a new bike for Kenny and I and Sarah, Ben, and Hannah.  We LOVE them.  They've been so much fun and we ride them as a family all the time.  The first weekend we got them we went for a family bike ride to a McDonald's not too far from our house.  It was an 11 mile round trip ride and Ben and Sarah did wonderful on their bikes (the other 4 kids were in the trailers having fun riding along.)  It's been great for the kids who love to ride.  Kenny has been riding 10 miles in and 10 mile home from work each day and has really enjoyed the exercise and the easiness on his knees.  I've loved riding with my kids and with Kenny some mornings.  All in all, they were a great purchase for our family.
