After Baptism Fun

We asked Hannah what she wanted to do after her baptism and the one place she wanted to go was to the gardens at Thanksgiving Point. It was perfect timing because they just happened to open up for the season the very weekend of her baptism. The flowers weren't out yet, but it was still beautiful and it was made even more special by the fact that both sets of grandparents came with us. Hannah was in heaven that this day was all for her and that she was able to have both grandparents share in her day.

We got a golf cart for grandpa because he still wasn't able to
walk very well on it after his surgery.
The kids loved the golf cart.
Gotta run around on all the grass.
Oh to be a kid again.
Sarah was having fun showing off many things at the gardens.
She's such a silly kid.

Both sets of grandparents were so impressed with the waterfall. It is beautiful.

Farm Country

Petting the horses.
Beautiful, fantastic weather on a late March day warranted a trip to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. We pet and rode horses, went on a wagon ride pulled by a tractor, played in their buildings, and enjoyed seeing all the other animals. It was a perfect spring day.

Adam loved the horses.
Gracie got one of the biggest horses.
Playing in the jail.  HaHa. My kids are goofballs.

Big Kids Turn With The Dino's

Gotta love dinosaur bones.
Just as I suspected, the big kids were not too thrilled about my trip with the little boys to the dinosaur museum. Sometimes it's just not fair that you have to go to school. I decided to allow them to go as well, but the had to wait a few days, we were just way too busy. Two days later we loaded up and headed to the museum after school. They loved seeing everything again, building dinosaurs, playing in the sand, and they really enjoyed the new (to us) creativity room before you enter the museum. We had so much fun that daddy walked over after work and joined us and we stayed way later than we should have. What fun it is to be a kid (and a parent.)

My Dino Loving Little Boys

We love the dinosaur museum.
Ever since we found out we were moving (and even before that) the kids have been so excited to go to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point. On the 11th of March I finally got caught up enough on the move to feel like I could leave the house. That meant a morning of fun at the dinosaur museum with the boys. All of the older kids have been to the museum at some point so I figured it was fair for the boys to see it with just mom. They had a BLAST. They loved looking at all the dinosaur bones, playing in the sand table, and digging for dinosaur bones. I'm so glad we live close to Thanksgiving Point and were able to get a membership so we can return to their cool places whenever we want.

All the kids have their picture taken on this dinosaur when they're small.
Naturally I needed one of the little boys too.
What's not to love about a big, scary shark.
Digging for and uncovering dinosaur bones. A little boys dream.
